Privacy Policy for SupGro
This Privacy Policy explains how Supgro LLC collects, uses, shares, stores, and protects information when you use SupGro, including SupGro Plus, groups, messages, posts, reflections, support features, and related services.
In this Privacy Policy, “SupGro,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Supgro LLC.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to SupGro and related services operated by Supgro LLC.
It does not apply to services operated by third parties, including Apple, app stores, device operating systems, or websites and services that SupGro does not control.
2. Anonymous Design
SupGro is designed to support anonymous, low-pressure connection. SupGro does not require users to use real names, real profile photos, contact linking, or find-friends style contact discovery.
However, anonymous display inside the app does not mean that SupGro collects no information. SupGro may process account, device, subscription, content, safety, and technical information needed to operate and protect the app.
3. Information We Collect
SupGro may collect the following categories of information depending on how you use the app.
Account Information
We may collect information used to create, maintain, or secure your account, such as:
- Email address or login identifier.
- Username, display name, anonymous profile name, or account ID.
- Authentication information from Apple, Google, or another sign-in provider if you choose to use one.
- Account settings and preferences.
Content You Provide
We collect content you choose to create, submit, save, or send in SupGro, such as:
- Posts.
- Messages.
- Group or circle activity.
- Reflections or journal-style entries.
- Support messages.
- Reports, feedback, and moderation requests.
Depending on the feature, some content may be visible to other users in a group, circle, community area, or conversation. Do not submit personal information that you do not want visible in the relevant area of the app.
Subscription and Purchase Information
If you purchase SupGro Plus through Apple, Apple processes your payment. SupGro does not receive your full credit card number or full payment account details.
SupGro may receive or process subscription-related information needed to provide access, such as:
- Subscription product ID.
- Subscription status.
- Purchase, renewal, expiration, cancellation, or refund status.
- Transaction identifiers.
- Trial or offer eligibility information, where available.
Device, Usage, and Diagnostic Information
We may collect technical and usage information such as:
- Device type.
- Operating system version.
- App version.
- Language or region settings.
- Crash logs.
- Diagnostics.
- Performance data.
- Feature usage events.
- Approximate location derived from device settings or IP address, where applicable.
This information helps us operate, debug, secure, and improve SupGro.
Safety, Moderation, and Reporting Information
We may collect and review information related to reports, blocked users, moderation decisions, suspected abuse, harmful content, illegal content, spam, threats, harassment, or safety risks.
This may include reported content, user IDs, timestamps, app activity related to the report, and moderation history.
Communications With Us
If you contact SupGro, we may collect your email address, message content, attachments, support history, and other information needed to respond.
Notifications
If you enable push notifications, we may process device notification tokens and notification preferences to send app-related alerts. You can control notifications through your device settings.
4. How We Use Information
SupGro may use information to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the app.
- Create and manage accounts.
- Enable groups, messages, posts, reflections, and support features.
- Provide SupGro Plus subscription access.
- Verify purchases and restore purchases.
- Personalize app settings and user experience.
- Send service messages, support responses, and notifications.
- Detect, prevent, and respond to abuse, spam, threats, harassment, exploitation, illegal content, and safety issues.
- Moderate content and enforce the Terms of Use.
- Debug crashes and improve app performance.
- Analyze app usage and improve features.
- Comply with legal obligations.
- Protect users, SupGro, Supgro LLC, and the public.
5. How Information Is Shared
SupGro may share information in the following situations.
With Other Users
Content you post, send, or submit may be visible to other users depending on the feature you use. For example, group messages may be visible to members of that group.
With Service Providers
We may share information with vendors that help us operate SupGro, such as hosting providers, analytics providers, crash reporting services, notification providers, authentication providers, moderation tools, customer support tools, and subscription infrastructure providers.
These providers may only use the information to provide services to SupGro or as otherwise permitted by law.
With Apple and App Stores
If you purchase SupGro Plus through Apple, Apple processes the payment and manages subscription billing. SupGro may exchange purchase or subscription status information with Apple to verify access, process renewals, restore purchases, or respond to subscription events.
For Safety and Legal Reasons
We may disclose information if we believe it is reasonably necessary to:
- Comply with law, legal process, or government requests.
- Enforce our Terms of Use.
- Investigate abuse, fraud, spam, threats, harassment, exploitation, or illegal activity.
- Protect the safety, rights, or property of users, SupGro, Supgro LLC, or others.
Business Transfers
If SupGro is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy or a replacement policy disclosed to users.
6. No Sale of Personal Information
SupGro does not sell your personal information.
SupGro does not use your messages, group posts, reflections, or support content for third-party advertising.
If SupGro ever uses tracking or advertising technologies that require additional consent, SupGro will request consent where required by law or platform rules.
7. Sensitive Information and User Content
SupGro is a community and reflection app. Users may choose to share emotional, personal, or sensitive information.
You should avoid posting information that you do not want others to see. Even in anonymous spaces, other users may save, screenshot, repeat, or misuse content in ways SupGro cannot fully control.
SupGro may review sensitive content for moderation, safety, legal compliance, and support.
8. Data Retention
SupGro keeps information for as long as needed to provide the app, maintain accounts, support subscriptions, resolve disputes, enforce Terms, protect safety, comply with law, and operate backups.
When you delete your account or request deletion, SupGro will delete or de-identify personal information where required, unless retention is needed for legal, safety, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legitimate operational purposes.
Some deleted information may remain in backups for a limited time before being overwritten.
9. Account Deletion and Privacy Requests
You may request account deletion through the app where available or by contacting help@supgro.com.
Use the subject line: Privacy Request or Account Deletion Request.
We may need to verify your request before taking action. Deleting your SupGro account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription. You must cancel subscriptions through Apple Account Settings.
10. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
- Access personal information.
- Correct personal information.
- Delete personal information.
- Request a copy of personal information.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
- Appeal or complain to a privacy authority.

You can also control certain data through device settings, including notification permissions, app permissions, and Apple subscription settings.
11. Children
SupGro for iOS is intended for users who are 18 years old or older. SupGro is not intended for children under 13.
If we learn that we collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
12. Security
SupGro uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. However, no app, network, storage system, or transmission method is completely secure.
You are responsible for keeping your account and device secure.
13. International Users
SupGro may process information in the United States and other countries where SupGro or its service providers operate. These countries may have privacy laws different from those in your location.
By using SupGro, you understand that information may be processed outside your state, province, or country, subject to applicable law.
14. Third-Party Links and Services
SupGro may include links or integrations with third-party services. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. SupGro is not responsible for third-party privacy practices.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
SupGro may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted in the app or on SupGro’s legal page with a new effective date.
Continued use of SupGro after the updated Privacy Policy is posted means you acknowledge the updated policy.
